The 2026 Mazda CX-70 PHEV commences this terrific midsize SUV's second year. Power and Performance

The 2026 Mazda CX-70 comes in two trims. Both feature an e-SKYACTIV®-PHEV powertrain consisting of a 2.5-liter gas engine and a 68-kW electric motor, which combine to produce 323 horsepower. Also onboard are an eight-speed automatic transmission, i-ACTIV AWD® (all-wheel drive), and Mi-Drive, which includes driver-selectable Sport, Off-Road, and EV modes.

Range and Charging

This new Mazda for sale delivers an EPA-estimated 32 miles of all-electric driving. As the driver, you can choose between all-electric power for short errands or traditional gas/electric hybrid performance for longer rides.

Charging-wise, a Level 1 charging cable comes standard and is compatible with a standard household outlet. For faster charging, you can use the MyMazda app to find the nearest public Level 2 charging station. Alternatively, you can have a Level 2 home charger installed right in your garage.

Towing and Cargo

When equipped with the available tow hitch, the Mazda CX-70 PHEV can tow up to 3,500 lbs. You'll also have lots of cargo room to utilize: 39.6 cubic feet behind the second row and 75.3 cubic feet with the second row folded flat. Plus, for added convenience, there's an underfloor storage compartment.

Infotainment

Standard infotainment tech for this SUV starts with dual 12.3-inch displays - one for infotainment and one for vehicle status. The former comes with amenities such as Alexa Built-in™, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, and an eight-speaker sound system. You'll also have front and rear dual USB-C inputs at your disposal.
